Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 November 2026

This policy explains how KidsDM handles data from family accounts and child devices. By using KidsDM you confirm that you have read and understood it.

1. Information we collect

  • Family account data: family code, contact name, email, phone and plan.
  • Child device data: device model, system version, battery level, connection state and last seen time.
  • Usage data: daily minutes per app, plus the limits and schedules set by the parent.
  • Location data: coordinates, address and the time of each report from the child app.
  • Task and reward records, and safety events such as uninstall attempts or admin permission being turned off.

2. How we use the data

Data is used only to run KidsDM features: time limits, app blocking, schedules, location, task rewards and safety notices. We do not use data for advertising and we do not sell it.

3. AI features

The weekly AI insight and smart app sorting use aggregated data only: daily and weekly usage minutes, app names, categories and the rules you set. We never send message content, photos, contacts, files or precise location to the AI service. AI notes and suggestions are advisory and never change a rule on their own. You can also leave these features unused without affecting anything else.

4. Retention

  • Location records: kept for 30 days.
  • Safety events: kept for 90 days.
  • Usage statistics: kept for 180 days.
  • Family and child account data: kept while the account is active.

5. Sharing

We do not disclose your data to third parties unless the law requires it or you agree. When hosting, map or messaging providers are involved, we send only what is needed to deliver that service.

6. Your choices

You can review and change rules, remove a child device, or ask us to delete the family account from the parent app. For help, email support@kidsdm.com.

7. Children's data

Family accounts are created and managed by a parent. The child app does not create its own account and does not collect personal data beyond the account credentials.

8. Security

Data is sent over HTTPS, and access requires the family code and access code. No system can guarantee absolute security, so please keep your access code safe.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product or the law changes, and the date on this page will be revised. Significant changes will be announced in the parent app or by email.

10. Contact

If you have questions about this policy, email support@kidsdm.com.
